Welcome to a tiny slice of realistic yet imperfect inspiration. Most of ya know me, but for those of you who don’t I am Shelby – most just call me Shelbs. Growing up in the tiniest town in Texas my dad used to always tell me “80% of life is what you make of it, only 20% is actually what happens.” By now, I am sure most of you have either seen this on some inspirational Pinterest page or heard it from a friend trying to help you see the brighter side of things, either way this s h i t is for real. The world likes to constantly remind us how hard its gravity pulls on us, but with the right mind set and a little bit of work, life will give you the lemonade instead of just the lemons. Through sharing tidbits on how I found my bliss, I hope to help you achieve a little more self-love, and a whole lotta h a p p y!
